A particularly cold gym

I love my local gym. I love it for a lot of reasons. There is more exercise equipment in there than I would ever know what to do with, and it’s all top-of-the-line stuff. They keep the place nice and clean and professional looking. In addition to solo exercising there are plenty of classes offered as well. Not to mention the big screen, high definition TVs that line the walls. However, there is one feature of my local gym that I should be happy about, but I am not quite content with. I think they actually used too much air conditioning. Now, of course, I understand the sentiment behind it as anyone who exercises for any length of time would: they want to help cool us down. That’s all well and good, but sometimes, I still feel frosty, even when I’m well into the middle of my workout! It actually takes a while to get the circulation going in my hands and feet because it is so chilly! I really, truly would not mind if they turned up the thermostat a few degrees. I don’t think it would be all that detrimental to our comfort, quite the contrary! Maybe there are other gym-goers who feel different. Maybe there are other people working out who rely on that cooler temperature to remain comfortable. Maybe I should simply ask about it one of these days; just go up to a service desk and inquire about why it’s so cold. They probably won’t tell me anything that I couldn’t already suspect, but I suppose it would not hurt.
