About a year ago, or maybe a bit more, our sibling purchased a large house.
It is absolutely immense, & I don’t absolutely understand why she would choose to get such a gigantic house when she is getting older & residing alone.
One area of the purchase I genuinely do understand, though, & that is the backyard swimming pool. The pool is so gorgeous, & I would totally appreciate to have a pool of our own. Of course, that would mean I would have to spend money someone to take care of it because I just don’t have the strength & fortitude to do that kind of thing anymore. Anyway, she is now trying to decide if she should get a pool heater. It is October, & she lives a bit farther north than I do, so she absolutely does have a winter. She wants to swim every single morning, & last winter, she felt appreciate the pool was air conditioned rather than just wet! She is so absurd. She asked our opinion on whether she should get a heating system or not, & I absolutely believe she should. She enjoys cooler water, however not that cold! I propose she bring in an Heating & A/C woman or whatever & see if she can connect the heating system to the heating plan in the house. If that isn’t possible, I believe she ought to strongly consider solar heating. I mean, even if it can’t be used all the time, surely solar heating will save him money on her utilities, right? I figure if you are going to have a pool, you ought to be able to use it, & if that means a heating system replacement is in her future, so be it.
