When it gets cold out, many of us run to the temperature control to raise that temperature. Wouldn’t it be good if we could all have our preferred temperature control, all of the time? I’m sure it could be, but would I want to spend my savings for it? Instead, what we should strive for would be comfort, & not at such a high price. Instead of raising the temperature at the wall temperature control, choose to wear a jacket. Make sure you have your windows sealed officially. Why heat the apartment if it will escape through gaps in your doors & windows. Along with some straight-forward lake house maintenance, I also had my HVAC tune-up. My town heating & cooling supplier came over & tuned-up my central heating system & also cleaned the unit. I had extra insulation blown into my attic last year to help make my apartment more energy-efficient. I got a opportunity to daydream a bit while I was up there. My children are still young, so I’d appreciate to create a playroom for them… I’d appreciate to convert the attic into additional residing space for my kids. I’ll add more walls & floors, & a half bath. I’ll have to add a separate heating & cooling proposal to maintain any nice weather conditions control. Since the attic is almost the length of the house, that type of renovation would be genuinely costly. I spoke to the HVAC serviceman about this when he came out for the heating system tune-up. He advised me to consider a ductless mini-split HVAC proposal for the attic. He said that I can even add it to my existing ductwork.
