Why take chances with the HVAC unit?

I’ve seen the data and I’ve conferred with the HVAC professionals.

The result was pretty obvious.

HVAC maintenance is both totally essential to the HVAC equipment and of great value. It really makes sense when you stop and thing for a moment. Where we live, the residential HVAC of choice is the heat pump. While we have a mild winter, there is still a need for HVAC heating provided by the heat pump. At the same time, the heat pump really is essential for the HVAC cooling we need to manage the summer. We have some smoking hot summer around here and the HVAC cooling helps us just get through them in one piece. So why in the world would I ever take a chance that the HVAC equipment might fail right in the middle of the summer. For that matter, I wouldn’t want to go for some HVAC heating and have the heat pump fail either. This is the key reason why HVAC maintenance is so essential. Seasonal HVAC maintenance ensures that the HVAC equipment is ready for the workload of both the summer and the winter. Additionally, HVAC maintenance helps the HVAC unit perform better and at its peak efficiency. That peak efficiency becomes really important with all the HVAC cooling the heat pump does. So HVAC maintenance is putting money in my pocket by saving on HVAC utilities. Finally, HVAC maintenance is so valuable because it adds years of service to our HVAC equipment. Consistent HVAC maintenance adds, on average, 7 years of service over a heat pump that gets no HVAC maintenance. Again, the result are fairly obvious that HVAC maintenance is so essential and valuable.
