Storms happen quite frequently around here and every one of us have to be ready and waiting; We do not get a lot of warning unless the storm comes from the tropics! Most of the time the storms occur while in the summer time months when it is entirely sizzling and humid outside, then this is the worst time of the year for the power to go out and that is a frequent concern when there is a storm.
Last year the village was hit by two immense storms in a row.
The winds from the hour storm were severely damaging. They caused troubles all over town… Several buildings were heavily disfigured while in the storm, including several homes in the village where I live with our family, however i am the mayor of the village and taking care of the people is a job that I take seriously. When I realized that some of our residents were going to need temporary housing, I immediately contacted a company that rents mobile offices and portable buildings. I did corporation with the company in the past. They were not in the same village and completely unaffected by the storms. They were entirely cheerful to lend assistance. They sent for immense semi trucks with temporary housing, and our residents had the opportunity to sleep in a comfortable bed and take a sizzling shower. The temporary housing was handy while in the transition after the storm was over. We had almost $40 million worth of disfigures just in our small town, and those assessments do not include any of the residential loss. It took months to rebuild our village and reclaim from the devastating loss.
