Learning about high velocity heating plus cooling

Until a couple of years ago, my spouse plus I had never heard of high-velocity heating plus cooling.

Owning an older home gave us limited chances for centralized temperature control.

Our home was constructed sometime while I was in the mid 1740s plus is not outfitted with a duct system. The studs in many of the walls were turned sideways to create a greater living space. Because the walls are especially slender, they won’t accommodate conventional air duct. My spouse plus I were unwilling to tear down our walls plus ceilings plus get into a major, messy plus super costly remodeling project, but for several years, all of us struggled to achieve comfort by way of window cooling system units, box fans plus electric baseboard heaters. The weather extremes in our local area meant that our apartment was warm while I was in the Summer months plus frigid over the winter. I also hated the appearance of the portable heating plus cooling options. I was honestly ecstatic when I came across high-velocity temperature control. This style of heating plus cooling idea was developed particularally for historical homes. It features bendy mini-ducts that are only several-inches in diameter. These tubes can be inserted into existing walls plus snaked around obstacles such as studs, plumbing pipes plus electrical lines, without causing disfigure. The ducts link to six-inch diameter, round vents that are available in all sorts of styles plus allow freedom of location. The heating/cooling unit is compact enough to install into a closet. The idea works through a process called aspiration that hastily raises or lowers room temperature, making high-velocity heating/cooling truly energy efficient. The people I was with and I are gleeful to have the ability to adjust a central temperature control.
