I feel so lucky to have been able to grow up in a city that had a great zoo.
Because of having the zoo so close, I gained a healthy appreciation when I was just a small kid.
I remember going there as a kid and then later on as a teenager. Even now, I think our zoo is one of the best zoos of any I have visited. We have some of the most interesting animals I had ever seen, and we have several areas in the zoo to accommodate the different regions they hale from. The largest region of the zoo, is the Africa exhibition. The reason the AFrica exhibition is so vast, is because their climate is like ours during the summer. We live in an area where the temperatures are very hot during the summer. It actually gets so hot that one of the reasons we like the zoo, is because there are a lot of areas where you can find a way to escape the heat. There are several restaurants that are scattered throughout the zoo. They all have indoor seating, where you can eat in air conditioning. There are also a lot of water fountains to keep you from hydrating. Should you not find a space in an air conditioned restaurant, there are always the reptile exhibits. They are dark and well air conditioned. If we need air conditioning, we can always find it in our zoo. Be it a restaurant or an animal exhibit, air conditioning is always available for the weary.
