I love to just go to the local contractor’s store for homeowners to see what they have for the house.
I like gadgets and technology and when something comes out that can make life better I am open to buying it if I need it. I like the new HVAC technology out nowadays because it has made things a lot more comfortable when home a lot. My cousin got a new unit put in her house and it is amazing what changes they have made to the systems. For instance, she has a smart thermostat that learns your settings over time and even turns on the unit when you walk in the door. It’s a round space age looking thermostat and it is all touch screen so you can easily scroll through all the settings in a pinch. I don’t know how much they cost but this is why I am going to the store today to look around. Besides, the store itself has an incredible HVAC system and it is always nice and cool there so I like to stay for a couple of hours just to avoid the daytime heat. The only bad part is when I get out to my hot car and get inside it. I think my car is about 140 F and when coming out of the 65 F store it is quite a slap in the face with heat. I need to get one of those sun shades for my car to keep it cooler on these hot sunny days. Maybe I also need to charge up the car.
