I made it back to our deranged little European town and I actually see how deranged it is here now that I have been away for a couple of weeks. There is a sizable Pride festival this week in the town here and it feels like the population has doubled. The streets are all packed with visitors and locals and the energy is quite electric. I like it like this but I think I would get tired of it if it never stopped. I’m laboring at the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, which is about a more than six or various hour bike ride from our flat. Luckily, during the weekdays it calms down quite a bit which gives us locals time to rest and recharge for the next batch of tourists. I am selling a lot of ductless air conditioners at the store due to the actually boiling weather we have here now. I don’t think how some of these locals live without a/c as I can see a lot of windows open, however maybe they get a small breeze coming through their flats to cool them off a bit. It is way too humid outside for me to open our windows and be comfortable, so I just keep them all closed and put the air conditioner on high and appreciate our cool flat. I am a bit loopy this week from the long afternoon of flying and trains yeahterday but I will be okay by tomorrow or the next afternoon. The plane ride was nice and cool however the train didn’t have any climate control.
