My good friend has a hot water boiler, which I did not know much about. In my home, we have central heating and air conditioning, and I have never in my entire life dealt with any kind of boiler. None the less, a hot water boiler! My friend called me up and told me that he was afraid his hot water boiler was going to blow up and flood his house, and maybe set the whole home on fire! I thought he was being a little over dramatic and paranoid to be honest. But, since I know a few things about heating and cooling repair, I told him I would come over to take a look at it. It turned out, that even know I knew nothing of a hot water boiler, the problem was possibly serious. My friend was not overreacting at all! If this hot water boiler was to burst, it would flood his entire house and cause a lot of water damage. Not to mention, it would cost him thousands of dollars to either replace the hot water boiler or take it out completely. I suggested to him that he call the local heating and air conditioning company right away to repair the hot water boiler before any of the above actually happened! He took my advice and called the local heating and air conditioning company. The heating and air conditioning company got the problem fixed and it only costed my friend a few hundred dollars for the repair. A few hundred dollars instead of thousands I think was well worth the HVAC repair phone call!
