I guess everyone should own a HVAC zone control system. Zone control just makes too much sense to me. With this system you can set individual temperatures in every room. The days of the whole apartment being a single temperature are over. Who uses every room of their home all day anyway? I have a laundry room that I only use once a week. There is a guest room in my home that I never go in. I don’t need to supply HVAC to my family room after I have woken up in the day. It is so much cheaper not providing temperature control for those unused spaces. Decide where you are plus at what time, then only that space gets HVAC. It is better for your equipment too. You put less strain plus biweekly wear plus tear on it. Also, the sunlight moves around the home throughout the day. You don’t need to pound a family room with AC if you are not exposed to any sun. My apartment office is at the perfect temperature until around 3pm. Then I want the AC on. I supply my cooling system a much needed split by waiting that long to turn it on. It is not only good on the unit plus wallet, however for the home. My fiance plus I no longer fight over temperature control control. The two of us each get to decide the heating plus cooling of our own spaces. At night I can finally be at the right temperature to sleep. There are no more fights, compromises plus complications over being the wrong temperature.
