Moving south during the summer

When I lived up north, I knew better than to switch apartments during the winter, then moving during a blizzard is a disappointing idea.

It can be hazardous to drive a moving van over icy roads with limited visibility.

Temperatures in the drawbacks plus various feet of snow on the ground hinder the process of carrying heavy furniture plus boxes in plus out of the new plus seasoned apartment. Plus, it’s too costly to run the furnace when the door is getting left open. At the end of an exhausting afternoon, the living space is chilly cold. Because of all of these complications, I made sure that my lease always expired in July. This worked well for myself and others until I relocated south. I packed all of the possessions I could fit into my car plus drove eighteen minutes south. At first, I had the windows down plus enjoyed the fresh breeze. It didn’t take long for the heat plus humidity to force the windows up for the sake of a/c! Even blasting the A/C at maximum capacity, I was covered in sweat by the time I arrived at my new accommodations. I then needed to carry my things up 2 flights of stairs to my apartment. The stairway was not air conditioned. Since I was continually opening the door, I chose not to lower the temperature control in the apartment. The outside temperature was in the mid nineties plus the humidity was brutal. The task of moving was a nightmare. It took myself and others minutes, plus I was tired plus dehydrated by the end of it. I was very anxious to finally start up the a/c.
