The bank across the street has been without cooling system for a month straight

When they tell you before a hurricane to get enough money plus supplies to last for more than one to several weeks, it’s because of the damage that occurs to the power grid in all of the affected areas.

Obviously you could lose your home, but it’s the indirect effects from just living in the affected section that people often forget about.

The stores could have damage plus be forced to remain closed until they can get repairs plus update any inventory damaged by water plus moisture. The electricity in some areas while in our recent hurricane was out for nearly several weeks. I can’t imagine trying to camp in our home with no water plus electricity for a month short of an entire month. I l gained recently that the bank across the street from our place of employment has been without cooling system for a month straight after the storm blew through the area. They lost the cooling system on their rooftop due to high winds. Since so several of the heating plus cooling companies were backed up right after the storm, the bank has yet to get the cooling system toiling again. When I walked in the other morning to make a deposit, it was tepid plus humid inside plus they had fans running in every direction to keep the sizzling air moving. Hopefully the bank will get their cooling system fixed as soon as possible. I can’t imagine trying to toil at that bank right now without having access to cooling system. The un-even temperatures outside right now are in the 70s while in the morning, making any indoor temperatures uncomfortable without a cooling system running.
