There is no doubt that had I known the amazing results I would get from the whole home air purification system, I’d have been on it.
Instead, I ended up putting up with poor indoor air quality far too long.
But I sort of had a bad history with air purifiers. In the house I grew up in, my mother had an air purifier. It was the sort that had to be moved from room to room so I was constantly stubbing my toe on it or falling over it. On top of that, the air filter had to be cleaned all the time for that kind of air purifier. That was a chore I didn’t really enjoy. So I was sort of resistant when my wife suggested that we get an air purifier. But of course, my wife was right about needing better indoor air quality. We had four kids, dogs and a cat in our home. So there were plenty of sources for odors and indoor air contaminants. But I just didn’t want to deal with those air purifiers that had to be moved around. Additionally, the cost for the air purifiers like that were not cheap. But my wife kept looking into it and finally dragged me to the HVAC company. And this was where I first learned about whole home air purification. This was not a portable air purifier. This sort of air purifier works inside the HVAC equipment. Using UV light, it actually destroys the contaminants suspended in the air. That includes pollen, pet dander and the bacteria that causes odors inside the house. These days, our house smells clean and fresh. And we have the best indoor air quality we could ask for.
