As soon as I took over as administrator of the hospital, 1 of the first things that I wanted to do was replace the indoor air filtration system. The hospital had an air filtration system, however it was clear that the machines were not working. They were seasoned and dilapidated. We needed something that was going to work to keep our patients safe and healthy. I contacted many companys in the section to help with the project. I got bids from more than a dozen odd commercial heating and cooling companies and a couple of companies that certainally handle air filtration system replacement jobs. I was quite thrilled with the number of bids and many of the companies were in the ballpark that I expected. I sat down and spoke with each 1 of the people individually before I made our final decision. I chose a company whose main focus was hospitals, dentist’s offices, and laboratories. We have the entire building now outfitted with a technologically advanced and top of the line air purifying system that detachs 99.9% of all indoor air pollutants and allergens. The hospital was voted the number 1 hospital by all of the patients that attended hospitals this year and I think the two of us have a pretty great shot at winning next year too. The hospital offers the best medical services available and the two of us put our patient’s health at the top of our priority list. That’s how you become a great hospital with a name that is synonymous with healing. I am proud to be area of the project.
