I usually wash all of the air vents. I go through the apartment with our drill and remove every single one of the air vent covers. I put the air vent covers in a bath of sizzling water. I let them soak for a while. It’s truly easy to wash and wash them after they have soaked for a while, but periodically I learn them through the dishwasher if I don’t have time to let them soak.
