An addition means huge Heating, Ventilation, & A/C

Our household has four dining rooms & two washrooms, but my husband & I don’t share a room & no way will my great friend and I ever.

He also has his own separate office space… Right now my great friend and I have one child that takes the last one, however we are debating on having another baby.

Where will this child go? I feel my great friend and I have no choice but to add an addition, i want to add two more dining rooms & a washroom, and that way my great friend and I can have three kids without any concerns. If my great friend and I only have two, then the last room can be my office. There is no shortage of condo either. We have the space. I also feel my great friend and I have the money. My husband is a bit uneasy though. He did put up a great point. If my great friend and I add onto our house my great friend and I will need to get a bigger Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component. Right now my great friend and I have a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit that works for a 1500 square foot house! Adding three extra rooms will put added stress on the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C. We will need to update to a greater equipment & get HVAC duct in the other spaces. Also, electric & plumbing will need to be handled. It will be an extravagant project for sure. I feel it is worth it though. I want to be able to household a whole family comfortably. I don’t want to have one less child because I don’t have a dining room for them. I unquestionably don’t want to just cram into the space my great friend and I have either. My husband & I just can’t share a room either. We would divorce for sure.
