My son has always been a lover of the cold, in fact he just really loves cold and snowy days.
I can remember ever since he was 5 years old he would stare out the window every winter and just watch the snowflakes come from the sky.
He showed interest in doing sports and involved in the cold things like ice skating and skiing as well from a young age, so it wasn’t a surprise to me at all when he got older that he wanted to start skiing professionally. Now he’s out there living his dream and while I’m very happy for him I always can’t help but to worry just a little bit, the environment said he goes into can be harsh sometimes and the winter weather really isn’t a joke. I’ve had lots of comfort and enjoyment sitting here in my nice and toasty home. Enjoying the comforts of the radiant heated flooring, and the cozy fireplace. Sometimes it’s hard for me to enjoy the warmth of my home when I know he’s out and that freezing cold weather. But then I remind myself that he’s a smart kid, he knows what he’s doing, and that he’s living his dream and so I’m happy for him. I just hope he continues to be careful. He’s going to come and visit us this weekend, and I can’t wait to sit in front of the fireplace telling all kinds of stories with him. He’s had lots of adventures. I’m sure he’ll have lots of stories to tell.
