I’ve never genuinely liked flying on an airplane! If I can drive in a car, I would rather do that.
- I don’t mind driving 10 or 12 hours if I can skip a 2-hour plane ride.
I have been working for a pharmaceutical company for the past year. I have been to a lot of bizarre conferences plus meetings, then when I started the task I told my boss that I did not like flying on an airplane. I was happy to drive someplace plus everywhere that was needed, but I favorite not to get on an airplane if at all possible. Last month, I found out that the pharmaceutical company was going to have a sizable expo on the other side of the country plus my boss wanted me to be the advertising person to go to the expo, and that meant I had to fly on an airplane. I was genuinely unhappy with the decision that my boss made, but I knew that I could not turn down the opportunity. I was going to be able to earn a raise plus a promotion after the expo was over. The Expo was last weekend plus I took an airplane to the destination on Sunday, but unblessedly, there were electrical problems in the plane plus my associate and I had to lay on the runway for 2 hours. The flight was barely two hours plus my associate and I absolutely spent more time kneeling on the runway than my associate and I did in the air. There was no A/C in the plane while my associate and I were on the runway. It was sizzling plus uncomfortable. The ventilation system was blowing, but there was sizzling air coming out of the vents. My great friend and I sat for two hours in the heat plus humidity without AC.
