I’ve never very liked flying on an airplane, if I can drive in a car, I would rather do that.
I don’t mind driving 10 or 12 hours if I can skip a 2-hour plane ride.
I’ve been working for a pharmaceutical business for the past year. I’ve been to a lot of different conferences and meetings, when I started the job I told my boss that I did not like flying on an airplane. I was happy to drive anywhere and everywhere that was needed, although I number one not to get on an airplane if at all possible; Last month, I found out that the pharmaceutical business was going to have a big expo on the other side of the country and my boss wanted me to be the SEO person to go to the expo, that meant I had to fly on an airplane. I was very unhappy with the decision that my boss made, although I knew that I could not turn down the opportunity. I was going to be able to earn a raise and a promotion after the expo was over. The Expo was last weekend and I took an airplane to the destination on Wednesday, unluckyly, there were electrical concerns in the plane and my pal and I had to rest on the runway for 2 hours. The flight was barely two hours and my pal and I very spent more time resting on the runway than my pal and I did in the air. There was no A/C in the plane while my pal and I were on the runway. It was warm and uncomfortable. The ventilation system was blowing, but there was warm air coming out of the vents. We sat for two hours in the heat and humidity without AC.
