For the last three years, the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier had been telling us we needed a modern a/c unit; For the last three years, we had perfect a/c throughout the summer, and our a/c component was still working.
When the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier arrived this year, I was sure he was going to tell us we needed a modern a/c component before the next summer time season.
He got to the house, and we were talking about the a/c component and what he had told us last year. I assured him we inspected the a/c unit, and I was sure it was going to work for one more year. He didn’t look convinced, but he headed outside to do the inspection. When he came back inside, he was shaking his head. He told me we weren’t going to last for another year, however the a/c component would absolutely die before the end of this summer. He was suggesting we purchase an a/c component now, even though I couldn’t afford it. I was hoping we would have one more year before we had to purchase another a/c unit. I told him this, but he couldn’t do anything to change the situation. He was surprised we had gotten through three years, and he wasn’t going to change his mind just to make me feel better. He said he didn’t want to see my family go without a/c just because he didn’t want to provide me terrible news. I guessed I was going to be buying a modern a/c unit.
