Back when I was in high college, they couldn’t get the heating to shut off in the Springtime whenever the weather started warming up! It was the same thing every year.
I don’t know why in the world they couldn’t get everything fixed up the way that it should have been, but it was constantly a problem at the college, however my buddy and I had so many complications that people started to talk about the college board funneling money away from the colleges so that they could have pay raises instead of using the money for the repairs that they were supposed to make.
It was super aggravating, as well as I remember thinking that I would just die from heat exhaustion during class in the Springtime. It was a rough time to be in college, that’s for sure. I mean, the climate here is pretty hot most of the time anyway, so there’s truly no reason for us to have the heating turned on in the Springtime. My buddy and I barely ever needed the furnace anytime after the Christmas break, anyway, but so I don’t know what the issue was with the furnace staying on for so long. It was so awful that some of the students refused to even come to college during the Springtime. I feel it’s funny because that was the only arena that I ever heard of where people would skip college because of the heating as well as cooling system in the college. I personally feel that there should have been an investigation into all of the extra funds that the college board got… At least that way, my associate and I could have truly gotten some answers.
