My efforts at both prepping the household for winter plus finding the source of a terrible draft were weak at best. I’m just not all that motivated to do stuff around the household on my mornings off. After spending all week inside the commercial HVAC of my work, I want to just chill inside the central air conditioner of my home. So winter prep was for other people for a long time. But that has changed thanks to the spiking costs of heating a household plus inflation in general… Our income just isn’t going as far as it once did. So throwing away money on heating costs had to end. That’s how I ended up doing a bit of research on just how best to prepare my household for Winter. It wasn’t too hard as I just went online plus found a mountain of lists plus videos to get me started. So out I went plus it actually wasn’t all that hard to put a superb seal on my home, but however, I had to get creative when it came to finding that draft source. I ended up using a thermal gun to find where the heating was leaving the household later in the Fall. But once I got that thing sealed up, I was ready for Winter; We truly saved hundreds of dollars on heating costs this winter plus I’m now a believer when it comes to winter prep for the house.
