Whenever Joan was about 16 years old, she ended up dating this girl in her class.
They were still in high school at that point, of course, and she was her first real girlfriend.
They had an awesome time together and they had a whole lot in common. The two of them were in love and it was a deranged romance. You know how it goes when you’re young and in love. You constantly feel like you’re totally deranged about each other and like nothing will ever come between you. Well, that’s exactly what ended up happening with this girl. Her folks were the owners of the best Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor in the village and so Joan ended up getting a summer time job working for them when it was the summer time between their junior and senior years. She loved learning all about the Heating, Ventilation and A/C profession, and as time went on she decided that she wanted to go to college to get her Heating, Ventilation and A/C certification. During this entire time, the lovebirds were still dating and growing closer as well as closer. By the time they graduated from high school a year later, they had decided to get married. Joan kept on working for her parents and now they have been together for 27 years. They have been married for a long time now and her parents ended up giving them the entire Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor when they retired last year. Joan never would have thought that all of this would have turned out this way when they first started dating way back in high school. But, you never know.
