I am spoiled with the excellent a/c we have in our home. My superb friend and I have one ductless Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C component for the upstairs, one for the main floor, plus one for the basement. These units keep every room on their prospective floor, cool all Summer long. I have my workroom upstairs. I sometimes forget what time it is. The a/c keeps me so comfortable that I can labor plus nothing bothers me. My husband needs to remind me it is time for meals, or time to shut things down plus go to bed. I prefer my task, plus I don’t mind laboring from home. I know I couldn’t labor without a/c. I was laboring one afternoon, plus I had the chance to find out how uncomfortable I would be without our a/c. There was a storm outside that knocked out the electricity. Without the a/c, it was so uncomfortable upstairs that I felt I was going to disintegrate in a puddle of my own sweat. I told my husband he had set up the generator, although he refused. The electric supplier said they would have the power turned on in a couple of hours. I had to sit downstairs plus talk to my husband for four hours, because he wouldn’t turn on the generator so I could labor upstairs with my a/c. I asked him why it was such a large deal to turn on the generator. My superb friend and I had solar panels to help offset the electricity when it went off. He told me he missed my supplier. Without a/c, I was forced to come out of my office plus talk to him for a while. He made me feel guilty.
