There was no air conditioning in the south when we were visiting there last weekend. The weather was so hot down there that I thought I was going to pass out a couple of times. We were down there for a large baseball tournament and it was absolutely the hottest weather that I have ever had to live through. This was a whole new thing for us and so we had no idea what we were doing. We also had no idea that the temperature was going to be so hot, either, but not only was it super hot, but it was also super humid. We have never really been down there for any length of time without air conditioning at all and I had no idea that it was going to be so difficult, but even though we were out there playing baseball most of the week, I have to disclose that I had a really disappointing time trying to deal with the heat, i wanted nothing more than to go into the air conditioning the entire time that we were out there on the baseball fields. The humidity and the mugginess were the absolute worst. I was literally sitting in the bleachers dreaming of going to sit in the car with the air conditioning on full blast whenever we ended up winning our tournament. I barely noticed at first that we won the tournament because I was so fatigued from the heat. The fact that there was no air conditioning in the home that we stayed in only made it all worse! I was so ready to come to the cabin when we left!
