I’m deeply saddened by the thought of running our heater and hiding indoors from the cold temperatures outside.
I am one of those people who discouragingly checks the weather on a constant basis. I genuinely like to know what temperature is coming my way; I want to know when I can expect sun, rain, and what temperatures are forecasted for the foreseeable future so I can make the most of my afternoons. I care about getting outdoors and enjoying warm, sunny conditions, so I try to plan my activities to maximize the amount of quality time I can spend outside. That’s exactly why I’m so stressed out this week; our weather is changing for the worse this coming Monday, and I am freaking out. I do not like cold temperatures, rain, and wind. So far this season we’ve been fortunate to experience hot, sunny afternoons, and I don’t want them to end! I’m dreading the extreme temperature drop that lies ahead, so I’m trying my best to get outdoors every single day before the weather swings. It’s such a dark and decrucial time of year when the sky becomes overcast, the air is brutally cold, and you spend every moment desperately trying to get property to the comfort of your Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I know there’s nothing I can do about the pending temperature change except to have our heater ran tests on in preparation for the cold season and to try to enjoy the last of the moderate air while it lasts.
