Seal up that house – temperature gun shows air leakage

If you’ve ever wondered how you can properly seal up your house, I have the solution.

I’ve heard of people hiring HVAC companies to come out and run energy-saving algorithms for them that help to determine where they might be losing volumes of high-quality treated air.

That all sounds really cool, but also really expensive. I mean we’re talking about getting a team of highly-trained technical engineers on site to examine where you could be leaking energy from your entire home. It’s kind of a big deal. That’s why I wanted to find my own solutions that I could do at a much lower cost. I got online and started looking around for other people’s ideas. Somebody mentioned that you could buy a long-range temperature gun which would help with detoxing instantaneous temperatures from up to 50 feet away. I thought that was a pretty cool gadget. Even if I didn’t have a great use for it right away, I knew that something would come up for this awesome temperature detector. Well, the solution came quickly. After looking online it became clear that I could use my temperature gun to monitor the energy released from outside my home. By turning on the AC or heat and then standing on the premises, I could examine the outside of the house and identify areas where the air was too hot or too cold. This would let me know where I was having HVAC leakage. With this knowledge under my belt, I can go back into the house and easily reseal those areas. Now my high-quality treated air is sealed in tighter than ever and my energy bills are so low. And my wife said the store was a waste of money.
