When I first moved into this little lodge I thought that it was kind of a different living situation.
- I have never lived in such a small and quaint facility before.
I have constantly lived in a big suburban dwelling that was recently built by some big box corporation. The houses are constantly fairly cheaply built, however have all of the high-tech amenities that woo consumers these days. Our dwelling is constantly had smart temperature controls, zone control heating, an enormous central heating and air conditioner systems that took so much energy to power up each day. When I got into this little lodge on the other hand, there actually was not much of an Heating & A/C system to worry about. In fact this tiny little dwelling only has two mini split heating and air conditioner ventilation systems. If you haven’t heard of those before, you are not the only one. But you may have seen them before. These high end heating and air conditioner systems labor separate from using any ducts. This is incredible to me, considering how sizable our prior homes were. My wonderful friend and I had expansive ductwork that required extensive professional servicing each year. Since this home is so easy, I can use the mini split heating and air conditioner systems to regulate the temperature in space separate from having to shuttle air through long air ducks. It’s actually amazing, not only for the cleanliness and low upkeep costs, however also so I don’t hear rodents carrying around in my ductworks all night long. Being way out here in the woods in a lodge, I am already hearing enough of those animals scurrying around on the roof.
