I undoubtedly should have known not to bother when our neighbor asked me to come over the other day… The reason I say that is because she was drunk plus she was making all kinds of complaints about her HVAC method not working.
When I got over there, she was talking about fixing her own HVAC method while she was seeing a bunch of DIY videos about how to repair your HVAC.
First of all, there was no way she was going to be able to do this while she was inebriated. Also, working on HVAC systems should be handled by the professionals who are certified to work on these major systems! One small mistake could be life-threatening, plus I didn’t want our neighbor to die that night from electric shock or something love that. I told him she needed to call up the HVAC company to handle the complication, plus she just told me that nobody asked for our opinion. I laughed because he’s the a single who invited me over to help. I kept telling her spouse to make sure she didn’t try to work on that HVAC system, even though she said that once she had her mind on something, nothing was going to stop him. I decided to stick around to make sure she at least didn’t hurt himself. I helped him shut off the power to the HVAC system, plus she kept asking me for a bunch of tools. She tore up her HVAC system, plus I knew this was going to cost a fortune to have fixed after she was done with it.
