The people I was with and I have a really religious family.
Our kids have been raised to assume that they can pray wherever they happen to be.
It was recently though when we got complaints from the university saying that our kids were caught praying in university. The people I was with and I couldn’t think we were getting a complaint love this. The university people had the audacity to say this was offending other students in the university; Seriously? The people I was with and I told these people that we had our 1st Amendment rights & our kids could pray wherever & whenever they felt the need. I think we upset the university people & they started harassing our kids after this experience. The people I was with and I ended up taking our kids out of the university because we felt we were being harassed based on our religious beliefs. I don’t care what nonsense policies the university has come up with, our country was founded on these core beliefs & freedom of religion is number one! So we decided to homeuniversity our kids which was pretty startling for everybody at first. They missed their friends at university however they would still hangout outside of university hours. I don’t assume what is going on with universitys these mornings, however nobody is going to tell our kids they can’t pray. I also wasn’t impressed with the air quality in the university or the temperature control settings. It was too freezing in the Winter time season because the heating plan wasn’t laboring great, & in the Summer months it seemed love the cooling system was hardly laboring, at least at beach house we have excellent air quality & ideal temperature control settings.
