For the longest time, I have enjoyed the place where I live.
We have a beautiful house and more recently, we decided to upgrade our HVAC system.
We upgraded the heating system to radiant heated floors and we have a highly efficient cooling system which works great. Sadly, there has been a raging fire that we have been scared of. The fire is coming our direction and they are telling people to evacuate the town. I just don’t know if I can do it, I put so much into my home and I have so many memories at this place. I just can’t imagine letting it all burn down, I would rather fight to keep my town protected. There have been numerous volunteer emergency firefighters and I even joined the team. When people ask me what I’m doing this for, I tell them that I am fighting to save my radiant heated floors! Even though people are scared and devastated about what is going on with this huge fire that is spreading and threatening our town, I usually get them to laugh when I say that. I honestly am fighting for my HVAC, but I am mostly fighting for my home and for my family. I don’t want to lose everything I have just to have to start over again in another place. I love everything about our community. I just pray to God that we get some help like a powerful rainstorm that helps us stop the fire. Anything would be great! Then seemingly out of nowhere, a bunch of storm clouds came in and started pouring rain over the fire, before it was able to reach our town! It was a miracle and I figured that my radiant heated floors were saved after all!
