Living here in the south is not easy.
One of the main things about living in the south that is tough is dealing with the heat around here.
The heat really makes me feel sluggish and tired all the time. Sometimes it even gives me aches and pains. This is not a great thing for me. However, because I have a great quality central air conditioning system, I can get by when I am relaxing at home. The only time I have to deal with the ungodly heat is when I have to go grocery shopping or when I have to go to work. Thankfully, I work from home 4 days out of the week. Only 1 day I have to go into the office of the company I work at. So this is a blessing that I am able to be working at home while enjoying the indoor comfort of my central air conditioning system. In the colder months of the year it still can be warm at times. But over here in the south, it is very rare that you would have to turn on your central heating system at all. Central heating is something of a rarity in this part of the country. Which honestly, if I had my choice between needing heating and needing air conditioning, I would rather have the need for heating. I didn’t grow up here in the south, I kind of just ended up here for work reasons originally. So it’s a trade off I guess. I can deal with it. It’s just tough.
