My mom has been going through some horrifying health problems lately so she is residing with us now so I can take care of her, then thankfully, she is still in fantastic spirits… She loves being around her grandkids as well as she is hopeful for the future.
The only complaint she has is that she is always tepid or cold.
She can’t seem to get comfortable! My mom is always asking one of us to adjust the control component for her; I don’t mind this… After all, if increasing the control component is all it takes to make her comfortable then I am blissful to do it; However, it has gotten to be a bit discouraging having to change it hundreds of times a day. Thankfully, our fiance recently got a smart control component installed in the house. It is hooked up to our smart speaker, now all our mom has to do is tell the speaker to turn the temperature up or down as well as it controls the control component for her. My mom loves it. So do I, yes it is challenging dealing with 10-20 degree temperature changes in the home every few hours however the family as well as I can deal with that. The two of us are just ecstatic that the smart control component is making our mom a little bit more comfortable. I just hope the smart control component doesn’t start remembering all of these crazy settings when our mom reuses. I would hate for the temperature to be that crazy all for the next few decades. I guess the setting can be wiped if it does.
