With the onset of the COVID pandemic, more than 2 people have worked from home.
I am 1 of those people who are finally working from my home, plus I find I am having quite a hard time with keeping track of passing time plus what day it is.
I am losing mornings plus last week; I hadn’t even changed the calendar to the current month. It was this lack of timing that had me also forgetting that I needed to have the furnace cleaned plus tested. By the time I realized what the date was, I was seeing snowflakes start falling. All I could do was groan plus wonder if I had done any mangle to our furnace. I called up the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business plus explained what had happened. The lady who answered the iPhone at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business, chuckled. She said that I wasn’t the only 1 who had lost track of time. They must have had a big backlog of annual service inspections that had to be done from the way she talked. I was going to have to wait for at least several additional weeks until I was able to have the inspection done on our furnace. I changed our air filters, plus sat and waited. I wanted to make sure I had all the service done that I was able to do, hoping the old furnace would not provide me any complications. I wasn’t sad about me feeling cold, even though I sad about what would happen if the pipes were to freeze. I had frozen up the pipes before, plus it wasn’t an experience I wanted to repeat. Not only did I have a big mess, however the cost to clean it up was quite high-priced.
