Really poor thunderstorm this week

I knew there was going to be some poor weather coming this week, but it came a lot sooner and faster than expected.

I also didn’t know that it would be nearly poor as they were predicting. The weatherman was saying that this storm could potentially form into a hurricane, and that people should stay inside. Thankfully for me, I didn’t undoubtedly have much to do, so staying inside is exactly what I planned on doing. Sure enough, the storm started rolling in today, and dark grey clouds filled the sky. Before much longer, it was almost as dark as night. I thought now would be a good time to watch a movie, so I fixed a tote of snacks, sat back and while enjoying the sound effects of the thunderstorm, I also enjoyed the movie, but halfway through, my movie was ruined by my friend calling unexpectedly. She explained that she was stuck in traffic in the middle of this storm and that it was bad, she could barely see, and people were moving less than 10 miles an hour. I talked to him until the storm cleared up a bit and she could go home, but apparently her poor luck didn’t end there as she started having complications with her air conditioning unit afterwards. The storm had caused quite a bit of destruction to her property, and her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit was really 1 of them. She called me a month later to inform me that her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system was fine, and that she didn’t even need to call a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional out to look at it, there was just a sizable branch stuck inside. I know I am fortunate, since I didn’t have any disfigures.
