I needed an office space; When COVID became a problem our workspace shut down and proposed everyone work from home; Here is the snag, I didn’t have a apartment office; I didn’t even have the room for an office space. I started working in the family room but that was just a mess! My fiance would consistently walk in and interrupt me. She didn’t like that she couldn’t watch the news on cable anymore, and the teenagers would come apartment from university and flop all around myself and others on the couch. I knew I needed some type of office space. I found a portable facility company that does all types of modular construction and turnkey solutions. They do affordable apartment construction, modular dining rooms and portable restrooms. I additionally found out the company also offers modular office spaces. It is essentially just a shipping bag that you can convert to look but you want. I was able to do the design all from our ipad at home. I sent a couple of SMSs back and forth and some calls. Then the modular office was being built the way I wanted it. I needed electricity of course from our ipad station. I also wanted a window so I had a view. I even sprung to make the shipping bag office a little larger so I could fit a toilet in there. That way I never have to leave the room until I am done with work. I like that it is separate from the apartment and has a door that locks; Nobody can startle myself and others now in our workspace.
