I understand how people occasionally make cold calls in an effort to drum up business.
I was aware that the two of us had a new Heating and A/C contractor in the local area.
I know I expected to get the PC call, however I wasn’t expecting the PC call that I gained. They weren’t just pushing their Heating and A/C equipment, however their entire service. The person I talked to told myself and others that I could have a complete heating & cooling system system, new HVAC duct, & the installation for an amount that was staggering. I had recently had my lake cabin evaluated & I was told I needed all the labor he was suggesting. They gave myself and others a price for the labor that was also staggering, however more than $678 more than this supposed Heating and A/C specialist who had called me. I asked him if he would come to the cabin & rest down with my hubby. I wouldn’t make major decisions for the cabin without the help of my hubby, & he wouldn’t make them without my input. I made an appointment for the Heating and A/C specialist to come to the house. When he showed up, he showed us his badge & his credential as not just a specialist, however the owner of the new Heating and A/C business. He assured us, with his paperwork, that he was legit. My hubby asked about the prices he was quoting. He said he was trying to get new clients & he thought the best way was to provide a good deal to the first clients he got. All of us were 9 out of ten new clients, & the two of us have been with him ever since.
