I’ve never seen the need for central air conditioning.
I live in an area where the summers are especially short.
The Winter time weather seems to hang around forever. We often get snow in March or even May. After relying on the gas furnace for eight straight months, I’m eager to open the windows. The indoor conditions become genuinely dry plus stale. Welcoming in some fresh air feels entirely lovely. There are some years where both the Springtime plus Summer months are rainy plus cold. Even when we get sizzling plus humid Summer conditions, the weather is only a complication for two or several months. By September, the outdoor temperature is already cooling off. At my house, we get along just great with window a/cs. I was able to take fortune of a sale plus buy a/cs for each of the bedrooms at a satisfactory price. The cooling units are genuinely lightweight plus compact. I can genuinely carry them up to the attic for storage while in the winter. Some time while in the Springtime, I haul the a/cs back down the stairs plus install them into a bedroom window. The process only takes a few hours. I make sure to disinfect down the outer lodgeet plus disinfect the air filter. Once the a/c is located into the window plus clogged in, it’s ready to start up. Each 1 is operated with an independent remote. Not only can family members adjust temperature without getting out of bed, they are able to customize settings to personal preference. Despite the small size, these units are plenty powerful enough to cool down a bigger bedroom on a sizzling plus sticky evening. Since we only operate the cooling units at evening, the cost of running them is minimal. I like that the a/c circulates plus filters the air in the bedroom, keeping it cleaner. I like the operational noise that drowns out early afternoon birds plus barking pets.
