It’s nice enjoying the Gulf for a change

I’ve been taking frosty dips each day in the sea in my time living overseas.

I’m back in the states now as well as in my hometown, the land of Mickey Mouse, where the temperature of the Gulf is roughly 20 degrees warmer than overseas so my frosty water dips are not so frosty at this moment.

I guess the sea temp overseas in my town is about 57F at the moment as well as is wonderful for waking me up as well as cooling down my aching joints. However, here it just feels completely cool. It is still great for cooling the body down, however it does not have that same jolt that I have in the sea on the other side of the Atlantic. I commonly take the dip over there with a local pal. I was taking them alone, however I had a hypothermia incident one day as well as felt that it was a much better move to take the dip with a pal. The people I was with and I had to call an ambulance that day when I stayed in the 55 F water for 30 hours as well as I don’t want to have to go through that kind of situation ever again. I guess the ambulance had the a/c equipment on in the back where they were treating me so it was a bit uncomfortable for me, especially after entering the ambulance while shivering cold. Maybe they needed to keep the ambulance frosty for a particular reason as well as it didn’t help that I only had on a light jacket as well as some shorts after my swim. The moral of the story is don’t go in ice-cold water too long on a frosty cloudy day.
