It’s time to finally update the ancient beast. My Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system has been around a long time and I think it is time to stop putting bandaids on the wound and just update the whole unit. I’ve been wanting to get a new a single and finally have some extra cash to do so, so now I am going to start looking at units to see which a single is the most efficient and affordable. I think I would like to get the same a single our Mom has in his house but I need to see how much it costs because the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company he purchased it from was having a sale when he purchased it. I would like to save cash on power bills and get something that actually is top notch when it comes to efficiency. I am thinking about switching to propane or geothermal for the heat pump because I heard they are pretty efficient. I would also like to look into solar however I’m not sure I could afford that just yet. My Mom has an inverter category system and it seems to be actually wonderful so I need to ask him if his power bills are much lower to warrant the cost of the unit. He knows more about a/c than everyone because he has been laboring in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C industry for a long time. I have a backup space furnace to get me through the cold weather if I can’t get the new unit right away, however ideally I will buy a single soon and be done with it.
