Done with Manual Labor for Another Six Months

I just got done laboring on pop’s house a couple days ago and after that I had a sizable problem.

My toilet obviously kept running all night after I used it and it flooded not only the bathroom and our home office carpet, however it also poured onto the ceilings below where the living room is and onto the basement ceilings below that.

They just had a similar complication a week ago when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system flooded the drain pan and spilled onto the ceilings, so, our stepmom was going deranged when he went down to make his tea the following afternoon . She thought it was the air conditioner again but I told his it was our toilet. I calmed his down and assessed the damage and then came up with a system to fix it with the multiple days I had left before going overseas. The people I was with and I got a dehumidifier going to dry out the water and ran the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system all night to aid the drying process. The next afternoon I sprayed stain killer, which matched the ceiling color, and within an hour all of the stains were gone and all of the water that leaked was dried up. I think that the local supplier would have charged his an arm and a leg to fix all of the ceilings and the toilet but I did it for the price of a can of spray paint. I think our stepmom is going to send me some cash next week for fixing it so abruptly before leaving the country. It’s nice to have the skills to fix these things.
