I dislike staying at hotels for lots of reasons; but my husband on the other hand prefers staying at hotels on trips… When planning for anniversaries or other special trips, this disagreement can escalate into a full-blown argument. Then, typically, we both end up staying at a hotel. He is delighted about the room, plus I am contented with the fact that there is a complimentary meal each morning. But, easily one of the worst things about hotels is that their heating and air conditioning units are not as good as the ones at my house, because I have the best heating and air conditioning units that I could afford at the time. They are entirely efficient, plus they are almost silent when they are running. My control units are all smart control units too, which means I can adjust the temperature with only my phone, plus I can program my control unit easily that way as well. The control unit has even l acquired my preferences, which means it can know what temperature I want it when. With the hotel cooling system, I don’t ever have that luxury. I have to reset it every time I am leaving, plus the cooling system never seems to shut off! Even if the cooling system has a digital control unit, it typically manages to be freezing whenever I wake up. Because of this, I never sleep well in a hotel, no matter what. The trips that are supposed to be entirely nice leave me wishing I was just back at home with my awesome heating and air conditioning technology. My husband, regardless of the heating and air conditioning equipment, is just delighted to be in a new and interesting environment.
