The HVAC College Internship

When I was in college, I took an internship in heating and air conditioning repair.

It was a way I could learn about the heating and cooling industry, how to repair all kinds of heating and cooling products, and get my education all at the same time! I did not decide to go to a standard HVAC certification school. Even though that would have been a quicker turn around result in getting my HVAC certification. I just really wanted to have hands on learning experience. That way, when I finally graduated and got my official heating and air conditioning repair certification, I could get right to work and not have any question about what I was actually doing! This would also make it more easier to get a local heating and air conditioning company to hire me once I got out of college. I learned so much here. From repairing both residential and commercial HVAC units, installing heat pumps, installing and crafting radiant heated floors, to even repairing portable heating and air conditioning products all together! This was the absolute best possible education I could get for becoming a certified heating and air conditioning specialist! My uncle was actually the one who talked me into going into this type of HVAC learning program. And I have to say that I am ever so grateful to him for his suggestion! I graduated this past June, and already, I am working for a heating and air conditioning company as one of their HVAC workmen. It is so great, and I couldn’t be happier!
