Camping is definitely the worst activity that a family can do.
It has no good sides at all to it, especially if you are staying in a tent.
You are paying money for the rental space and all of the equipment, and you have no luxuries. You have to walk to use the restrooms, showers, and anything else helpful. You have a smaller space, which offers absolutely no relief from the outside temperatures. I wish that you could at least bring an air conditioner with you. Even if you had a portable air conditioner, there is no way that it would fit in your tent. Tents have terrible insulation, but they heat up like a furnace at the first sign of heat. Without an air conditioner, you better hope that your camping spot has a place to swim. However, even with a swimming area, you can’t swim for the entire day. At night time, your tent loses all of its heat, and you wish you had brought a space heater. Though a space heater might fit in your tent, you could also burn your tent down. There is always the option of bringing a camper with a heater and air conditioner, but they cost a lot of money. They also make you feel like you aren’t camping. I have a better idea. Instead of paying to camp, we could pay someone to allow us to stay in our house with the furnaces and air conditioners. We would have all of the luxuries, and if we wanted to be outdoors, we could relax on our porches.
