Camping is absolutely the worst activity that a family can do together.
- It has no great sides at all to it, especially if you are staying in a tent together.
You are paying money to rent a space, plus all of the equipment and lack of any luxuries. You have to walk to use the restrooms, showers, plus anything else helpful. You have a smaller space to sleep in, which offers entirely no relief from the outside temperatures. I wish that you could at least bring a cooling system with you; even if you had a portable cooling system, there is no way that it would fit in your tent… Tents have bad insulation, however they heat up just like a furnace at the first sign of heat. Then, without a proper cooling system, you better hope that your camping spot has a locale to swim in… However, even with a swimming area, you can’t swim for the entire day and night. At night time, your tent also loses all of its heat, plus you wish you had brought a small heater. Though a small heating system might fit in your tent, you could also burn your tent down. There is always the option of bringing a camper with a heating system and also cooling system, however they cost a lot of money to rent or own. They also make it seem as though you aren’t camping. I have a better idea. Instead of paying to camp in campgrounds, every one of us could spend money to stay in our houses with the furnaces plus cooling systems running. We would have all of the luxuries, plus if every one of us wanted to be outdoors, every one of us could relax on our back porches.
