Personal trainer helps me get into shape after car accident

I credited the personal trainer for getting me in the best shape of my life

A few years ago, during a winter blizzard, I was in a car accident. The roads were nearly impassible, with very little visibility. It was snowing steadily, with high winds and there was black ice. Because I was traveling the thruway, there was nowhere to pull off the road until I reached an exit. As I took the exit, my tires lost traction and went into a skid. The car went into a ditch and rolled over. I spent nearly two weeks in the hospital with broken bones, a punctured lung and various scrapes, cuts and bruises. I then entered into physical rehabilitation. I worried that I’d never get back in shape. My body was always sore and I struggled to even get out of bed in the morning. I eventually contacted a personal trainer for help. The personal trainer was absolutely wonderful. She was fine with starting out very slowly and gradually increasing expectations. She not only developed a personalized fitness strategy but helped me with nutrition. She incorporated a great deal of strength training and stretching into my workouts. I noticed that as I gained strength, flexibility and range of motion, I started to sleep better and have more energy. I dealt with less aches and pains. I was also able to decrease the amount of medication I was taking. I credited the personal trainer for getting me in the best shape of my life. Although I have recovered from my accident, I have continued working with the personal trainer. She motivates me to continue to reach no goals. At least some good came out of the accident.
