I’ve had some great luck with using service people who may not possess all the certifications that might expect. The people I was with and I have a guy who is a living, breathing handy man. This guy is such a great guy while also being proper with all sorts of service and construction principles. He can do just about anything around our house. The work is usually as great as I could expect from choosing someone off the internet. However, the thing I love so much about him is that he won’t work on anything he isn’t comfortable with. Our Heating and A/C went out a few weeks ago while our handy guy was here doing some minor repairs. I asked him to see if he could have a look at the heating and cooling unit. He promptly declined. He advised myself and others to only let a actually certified individual work on the Heating and A/C system. This got myself and others to wondering since I had never watched the Heating and A/C guy do his thing. The Heating and A/C tech showed up about 2 hours after I called the main office. Right away, I asked him if I could watch him work as I was curious. The Heating and A/C tech was ecstatic to oblige. He found the problem right away. There was a problem with the air handler. Apparently, a area had worn out. The service didn’t take all that long so I was sort of disappointed I couldn’t watch him work. However, the Heating and A/C tech was nice enough to spend some time explaining to myself and others all the education he had to go through. Heating and A/C techs are indeed actually qualified at what they do. It would be a giant mistake to use anyone else.
