Going shopping on an afternoon that is freezing out can tend to be a little rough on your body.
But, sometimes it just has to be done if that is the only time you have to get things done.
This is why when I have to go out and shop anywhere on those cold winter afternoons, I always make sure that the store or stores I am going to will have quality heating in them. I also make sure that my car’s heating system is working properly. Without quality heating, I simply can not go bouncing around from store to store in that freezing weather! Department stores are usually good with their heating systems. Always good warm heating, never feels freezing. But, grocery stores can be a whole other story. In grocery stores, sometimes the front end of the store will be almost as cold as it is outside, and then the further back you go, the warmer it will get. I feel that many of these kind of places need to invest in zoned HVAC systems. Zoned HVAC systems, also known as HVAC zone control would be the ultimate solution to this problem most grocery stores have. They could crank up the heat in the front of the store where these heating issues always seem to be happening, and then they could keep it at the correct temperature it’s at normally for the rest of the store. Maybe I should be the manager at one of these places, because the ones that they have now are not taking care of the heating needs, and certainly do not have a good handle on what proper climate control is!
