Before I moved to school in the major city I didn’t actually know anything at all other than country life… Growing up as a kid I had always assumed that I would have to get involved with my father’s farming business, but as I got a bit older, I began to realize that I wanted to do something else completely in my life.
- Once I turned eighteen I said goodbye to the country & moved a good distance away to the major city in the hopes of becoming a certified Heating & Air Conditioning appliance service tech.
After I began taking Heating & Air Conditioning appliance service classes it became crystal clear to me that I had an advantage from the rest of the trainees. Unlike the majority of the men & women who were in the class with me, if I had ever wanted something in my life I either had to figure out how to fix it or build it on my own. Not only when it came to heating & cooling equipment in my property, but multiple other things that people tend to take for granted. Despite the fact that I hadn’t had multiple high tech things to have fixed while I was younger, I was able to use my hard work ethic & resourcefulness to pick things up severely fast. Shortly after finishing up with my Heating & Air Conditioning equipment courses I was provided a job to do work at one of the most well known Heating & Air Conditioning equipment companies in the city. I would have never thought that I would be working in this concrete jungle when I was growing up, but thanks to the lessons I was able to learn where I am from I was able to make it happen.
